The 1in8B Play simulation, its text, artwork and code on 1in8b.live are original works protected by copyright. Filing a takedown notice

Send one message that includes: identification of the copyrighted work; the exact web address of the material you are reporting; your name, postal address, telephone number and email address; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

What we do with a valid notice

We review notices promptly. A complete, credible notice leads to removal of the material or its being disabled, and the person who shared it is told. Repeat infringers are blocked from the sharing, remembrance and cloud features.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to [email protected]: identify the removed material and where it was located, give your contact details, state under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, consent to US federal court jurisdiction, and sign. A complete counter-notice may lead to restoration within 10 business days unless the reporter files a court action first.

False notices

Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes copyright — or that its removal was a mistake — can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are unsure about a claim, consider getting legal advice first.
